Suzanne
Suzanne is the Senior Coach and Club Director of Emerald Baton Twirlers. Suzanne started twirling at the age of 7 and over her twirling career has been a member of B.T.S.A.I and A.B.T.I and has won numerous awards, Suzanne has represented Ireland twice at Worlds Championships in 1990 (Texas U.S.A ) and 1992 (Paris, France) both occasions being a menber of the Irish Squad, After retiring from competitive competition Suzanne dedicated her time to coaching and judging, Suzanne has judged both at home and abroad, judging competitions in the Isle of Man, Devon, Portsmouth, Southport, UK Open and C.E.T.B European Championships, Suzanne has judged for the A.B.T.I (Association of Baton Twirling in Ireland) , I.B.T.A (International Baton Twirling Association) , B.T.S.A.I (Baton Twirling Sports Association of Ireland) , I.M.A (Irish Majorettes Association) and at the B.I.B.T.A. National Championships in 2005 (British Isles Baton Twirling Association)
Suzanne has sucessfully coached athletes who achieved bronze in the 1997 European Cup of Clubs (Holland) in the Group Division and since then has dedicated her time to Emerald Baton Twirlers who have achieved great sucess locally and Nationally. Suzanne has just finished studying at the NCTC (National Coach Training Centre) in Limerick University to become a tutor of her sport.In 2006 Emerald International Cup Team reached finals of International Cup placing 9th overall . Suzanne is currently the Technical Advisor for BTSAI (National Governing Body of Twirling in Ireland) and has passed her WBTF (World Baton Twirling Federation) Judges Exams in 2006 and is Irelands 1st qualified WBTF Judge.Suzanne was recently elected as Secretary of the WBTF Judges Committee.
Bianca is a junior coach and Club Director with Emerald Baton Twirlers, she has recently completed the A.B.T.I Introductory Coaching Course and has just finished a course with CCRYS in Skills of a Youth Leader. Bianca graduated from college last year and did a course in Media Production. Her main interest is music; and has a terrible problem with music shops and can’t pass one with out going in. In her spare time Bianca enjoy's doing sound engineering mostly live work, Bianca currently coaches beginner athletes in Emerald Twirlers and so far her athletes have achieved great success at Nationals and Open Competitions, Bianca is currently continuing to advance her coaching qualifications at this time and recently attended BTSAI Compulsory and Short Program workshops. In November 2006 Bianca achieved her Introductory Level coaches certificate from the National Coach Training Center, Limerick
Sandra is an assistant coach and Club Director with Emerald Baton Twirlers, she has recently completed the A.B.T.I Introductory Coaching Course and has just completed her Fetac Level 4 course with CCRYS in Skills of a Youth Leader and Fetac Level 5 Young People and Society. Sandra also holds a qualification from the Irish Sports Council in Child Protection Sandra's helps to run the day to day buisness of running a club and prides herself on knowing the shoe size and costume size of every twirler in the club ( not an easy job) !!
Amanda is a junor coach and athlete of Emerald Baton Twirlers, Amanda has competed for her Club both Nationally and Internationally at WBTF International Cup in Rome 2006 and International Cup in Hamilton Canada, Amanda was a member of the Emerald Twirlers Squad that reached finals of International Cup, While Amanda continues to train as an athlete herself she also now coaches juniors of Emerald Baton Twirlers and has just recently recieved her Introductory Level Coaches award from the National Coach Training Center in Limerick,
